Chargers | Donald Parham officially signs

Updating a previous report, free-agent TE Donald Parham (Redskins) signed a multi-year contract with the Los Angeles Chargers Tuesday, April 14. Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

Footballguys View: We’re watching Parham closely in super deep dynasty formats. Parham was undrafted out of Stetson College in 2019 and failed to stay with Washington. Instead, he was released then wound up in the XFL where he was a star while the league lasted. He’s huge (6-feet, 8-inches) and has explosive traits. A patient team could develop him into a weapon…and that’s why we are monitoring the young prospect.

NFL | Joe Burrow says he’ll have to persevere

Louisiana State QB Joe Burrow, projected by many to be the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, said his rookie season will be a challenge regardless of the team he is selected by. ‘I’m going to have to persevere through it, just like I’ve done in the past,’ Burrow said. He noted it will be tougher this year, as rookie players will have less time with their team due to COVID-19 changing the league schedule. ‘There’s going to be ups and downs, for sure,’ he said. ‘You’re just going to have to battle through it.’

Footballguys View: Burrow is ready for the fight. He has incredible and uncanny pass placement in addition to toughness and accuracy as a passer. That’s why he’s going No.1 overall (most likely). Burrow should be an immediate starter for the Bengals and will have a nice array of weapons around him if he does end up with Cincinnati.
