Bears | Tarik Cohen part of the plan

Chicago Bears RB Tarik Cohen is part of the team’s plans in the offseason to try to restore his performance after he averaged just 5.77 yards per reception last season. A player has only caught 70 balls and averaged fewer yards once in NFL history. Cohen also had nine drops. Cohen said his body deteriorated more – and faster – toward the end of the season. His hips were tight and, because of that, his lower back hurt. Cohen said he has been doing yoga and stretching more often this offseason.

49ers | George Kittle earns his yards

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle’s depth of reception average was a career-low 5.8 yards in 2019 (following a career-high 7.3 in 2018). However, he made up for it by averaging 9.9 yards after the catch per reception in 2018 (the best mark in the league that season for a tight end with at least 40 targets) and 7.3 yards after the catch per reception in 2019 (the third-best mark for a tight end last season with at least 40 targets).
