Dolphins | Two UDFAs to compete for No. 4 DT job

Miami Dolphins DTs Ray Lima and Benito Jones are expected to compete with DT Zach Sieler for the No. 4 defensive tackle job during training camp.

Footballguys View: Lima got $27,000 and Jones $25,000 so the Dolphins see some potential there, but the team could also keep only three defensive tackles, so their best long-term opportunity might come after a stay on the practice squad. Lima was a three-year starter at Iowa State and Jones was a former five-star prospect and Freshman All-SEC first team and Freshman All-American third-team at Ole Miss.

Dolphins | Jonathan Hubbard to work at OG, OT

Miami Dolphins OT Jonathan Hubbard said part of the reason he signed with the Dolphins is that they plan to line him up at both offensive guard and offensive tackle.

Footballguys View: Hubbard got $35,000 guaranteed and picked Miami out of three teams, in part because of his conversation with Brian Flores. The Dolphins offensive line is under construction, so there could be opportunity there down the line for him. Hubbard was part of a line at Northwestern State (La.) that gave up a sack on only 3.9% of their 517 pass attempts with him in the lineup.
