49ers | Deebo Samuel not on a timeline
Updating previous reports, San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel (foot) is not on a timeline in his recovery from a fractured bone in his foot, according to general manager John Lynch. ‘Not going to put an exact timeline on it, but it’s fair to say he may miss some games at the start of the year.’
Footballguys View: Samuel could be bound for the PUP list which would force him out the first six weeks of the regular season. Some analysts don’t believe that will happen, but Samuel might be in line to miss a few weeks to one month of action when the regular season opens.
