Dolphins | Miami acquires Adam Shaheen

Chicago Bears TE Adam Shaheen was acquired by the Miami Dolphins Saturday, July 25, in exchange for a conditional 2021 sixth-round draft choice, according to a source.

Footballguys View: Shaheen was a small school tight end who was an interesting prospect a few years ago. He’s done little to nothing in the NFL and he’s been a disappointment for the Bears. Now, with the Dolphins we’ll see Shaheen get a fresh start as a reserve in the pecking order behind starter Mike Gesicki.

Cowboys | Three rookie sign deals

Dallas Cowboys second-round draft choice CB Trevon Diggs, third-round draft choice DT Neville Gallimore and fourth-round draft choice C Tyler Biadasz signed four-year contracts with the Cowboys Saturday, July 25. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Footballguys View: Diggs was one of the best cornerbacks in the 2020 NFL draft. During his college career at Alabama, Diggs was one of the most competitive players in the nation. Diggs has great size and quickness for the cornerback position, although he does need better technique. We should see him in the starting lineup sooner rather than later.
