Chiefs | KC agrees to terms with five draft picks

Kansas City Chiefs second-round draft choice LB Willie Gay, third-round draft choice OT Lucas Niang, fourth-round draft choice CB L’Jarius Sneed, fifth-round draft choice DE Michael Danna and seventh-round draft choice CB Thakarius Keyes agreed to terms on four-year contracts with the Chiefs Monday, July 20, according to a source. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Footballguys View: Gay could start right away in a weak side linebacker role that will allow him to seek and destroy the way he did in college. He’s an underrated dynasty IDP commodity.

Chiefs | Clyde Edwards-Helaire agrees to deal

Kansas City Chiefs first-round draft choice RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire agreed to terms on a four-year contract with the Chiefs Monday, July 20, according to a source. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Footballguys View: Edwards-Helaire is already going in the second round of some fantasy drafts. He’ll need to stay healthy through camp and prove he is ready to overtake Damien Williams to make that ADP seem wise in hindsight. For now, Williams being available much later appears to be the better pick.

Eagles | Six draft picks agrees to terms

Philadelphia Eagles third-round draft choice LB Davion Taylor, fourth-round draft choice S K’Von Wallace, fifth-round draft choice OG Jack Driscoll, fifth-round draft choice WR John Hightower, sixth-round draft choice LB Shaun Bradley and seventh-round draft choice DE Casey Toohill agreed to terms on four-year contracts with the Eagles Monday, July 20. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Footballguys View: Hightower will battle Marquise Goodwin and fellow draft pick Quez Watkins for playing time as a vertical threat in an offense that sorely needed one last year.
