Buccaneers | Tyler Johnson signs rookie deal
Tampa Bay Buccaneers fifth-round draft choice WR Tyler Johnson signed a four-year contract with the Buccaneers Monday, July 20. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Footballguys View: Johnson is a classic NFL slot receiver, but Chris Godwin was outstanding in that role last and the Bucs might not use a slot receiver as much with Rob Gronkowski and a four deep tight end group. Johnson will likely be one of those receivers who is much more productive in college than the pros.
