Ravens | Ben Powers to push for starting job

Baltimore Ravens OG Ben Powers is expected to compete with OG D.J. Fluker for the starting right guard job during training camp.

Footballguys View: There are huge shoes to fill at the spot as Marshal Yanda retired this offseason, but Fluker can move bodies in the running game and Powers was drafted in the fourth round last year to be Yanda’s eventual replacement. The Ravens brought in Fluker to hedge against Powers not being ready, and Fluker’s experience probably makes him the favorite to win the job.

Packers | Marquez Valdes-Scantling targeted deep

Green Bay Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling finished fourth in the league in 2019 with an average depth of target of 16.9 yards, according to Pro Football Reference’s advanced receiving data.

Footballguys View: Allen Lazard should get more deep targets this year, and Devin Funchess could also soak up some of the extra deep targets that Valdes-Scantling won’t get unless he has a very strong training camp. The Packers still only have one reliable passcatcher for fantasy leagues.
