Cowboys | Dallas not pursuing Jadeveon Clowney

Free-agent DE Jadeveon Clowney (Seahawks) is not receiving interest from the Dallas Cowboys because of his expensive asking price, according to a source.

Footballguys View: This comes on the same day that we are hearing that the team is pessimistic about Randy Gregory being reinstated. Aldon Smith was reinstated earlier in the offseason, and the team also has 2018 fourth round pick Dorance Armstrong to help fill the void left when Robert Quinn signed with Chicago this offseason.

Ravens | Malik Harrison under contract

Baltimore Ravens third-round draft choice LB Malik Harrison signed a four-year contract with the Ravens Monday, July 13. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Footballguys View: Harrison should start right away next to first round pick Patrick Queen, which could lead to a some rough times early against the Houston and Kansas City passing games in Week 2 and 3. Harrison is excellent against the run, but might leave the field on passing downs as a rookie.

Jets | Mekhi Becton top option at LT

New York Jets OT Mekhi Becton will enter training camp as the leading candidate for the starting left tackle job.

Footballguys View: The Jets will have a lot of change on the offensive line this year. Becton is massive and athletic, and he might have the highest ceiling of any of the top four offensive tackles off of the ball, all of which went in the top 14 picks.
