Steelers | James Pierre could make final roster
Pittsburgh Steelers James Pierre – a rookie from Florida Atlantic – has the best chance of any undrafted rookie free agent on the team to make the 53-man roster, according to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Per Dulac, Pierre has impressed the coaches at training camp, shown an understanding of his assignments and routinely makes plays on the ball.

Minnesota Vikings DE Yannick Ngakoue agreed to a one-year contract worth $12 million on Sunday, Aug. 30. The deal is nearly $6 million less than the $17.8 million franchise tender that did not sign prior to his trade from the Jacksonville Jaguars earlier in the day.
