Texans | Randall Cobb finishes with 95 yards

Houston Texans WR Randall Cobb caught four passes for 95 yards and one touchdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3. He was targeted four times during the game.

Footballguys View: Cobb had a big game against spotty Steelers coverage. He is just a what the heck flex next week against the ragtag Vikings secondary, but could gain some sustained value as the Texans schedule gets easier.

Texans | David Johnson reaches end zone

Houston Texans RB David Johnson rushed for 23 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 3. He also caught two passes for 23 yards during the game.

Footballguys View: Johnson was easily contained by the Steelers defense and the Texans continue to fail to emphasize him in the passing game. He’s just a flex against the Vikings next week, a game that must see the 0-3 Texans bust out of their offensive malaise.

Football Team | Dwayne Haskins Jr. makes many mistakes

Washington Football Team QB Dwayne Haskins Jr. completed 21-of-37 passes for 224 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in the Week 3 game against the Cleveland Browns and he also fumbled twice, losing one.

Footballguys View: Haskins turnovers were the difference in the game. It’s fair to ask how much longer Ron Rivera will tolerate games like this before he installs Kyle Allen as the starter.

Cowboys | Joe Looney questionable to return

Dallas Cowboys C Joe Looney (ankle) left the Week 3 game against the Seattle Seahawks in first quarter and he is questionable to return.

Footballguys View: Looney replaced Travis Frederick, who retired this offseason. The Cowboys offensive line was already without their top two tackles. Rookie fourth-round pick Tyler Biadasz is in at center.

49ers | Ross Dwelley has decent outing

San Francisco 49ers TE Ross Dwelley caught four passes for 49 yards against the New York Giants in Week 3. He was targeted four times during the game.

Footballguys View: Dwelley became the #1 receiving tight end with Jordan Reed leaving because of a foot/ankle injury. He had two scores in a game last year while George Kittle was out. Keep him on the waiver wire watch list if Kittle can’t return next week.

49ers | Brandon Aiyuk posts 101 total yards

San Francisco 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk caught five passes for 70 yards against the New York Giants in Week 3. He also rushed for 31 yards and one touchdown on three carries during the game.

Footballguys View: Aiyuk looked big and fast on his end around score and he was the #1 target for Nick Mullens in the breezy win. Deebo Samuel is on schedule to return in Week 5, so we’ll be considering Aiyuk as our WR3/Flex against the Eagles next week.

49ers | Two touchdowns for Jeff Wilson

San Francisco 49ers RB Jeff Wilson Jr. rushed for 15 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries against the New York Giants in Week 3. He also caught three passes for 54 yards and one touchdown during the game.

Footballguys View: Wilson was outplayed by Jerick McKinnon, but was more productive as he finished multiple drives on an easy day for the 49ers offense. He’ll be a flex play if Raheem Mostert (knee) isn’t ready for the Eagles game.

49ers | Jerick McKinnon reaches end zone

San Francisco 49ers RB Jerick McKinnon rushed for 38 yards and one touchdown on 14 carries against the New York Giants in Week 3. He also caught three passes for 39 yards during the game.

Footballguys View: McKinnon got more of the work early, but was the less productive fantasy back in the 49ers backfield today. He did have a touchdown catch wiped off of the board by a penalty and showed he is flexworthy if Raheem Mostert is out again next week.
