Lions | Detroit QBs struggle in Week 16

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (ankle) went 2-for-3 for 17 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 16, before he left the game because of an injury. QB Chase Daniel went 13-for-18 for 86 yards, zero touchdowns and zero interceptions during the game, while QB David Blough went 6-for-10 for 49 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception.

Footballguys View: You know it’s bad when three quarterbacks play in one game. Stafford was banged up going into the game, so many Fantasy GMs weren’t starting many Lions skill position players.

Buccaneers | Two touchdowns for Rob Gronkowski

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Rob Gronkowski caught two passes for 58 yards and two touchdowns against the Detroit Lions in Week 16. He was targeted two times during the game.

Footballguys View: Gronkowski is always capable of having a touchdown-heavy game because he’s a long-time favorite of QB Tom Brady. Fantasy GMs who started him are happy with the results.

Buccaneers | Mike Evans has monster game

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans caught 10 passes for 181 yards and two touchdowns against the Detroit Lions in Week 16. He was targeted 12 times during the game.

Footballguys View: Evans will help those Fantasy GMs out who had to go up against Saints RB Alvin Kamara in the championship round. If you were able to double up on Kamara and Evans then you have a tremendous lead heading into Sunday’s action.
