Eagles | Miles Sanders added to injury report

Philadelphia Eagles RB Miles Sanders (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 31.

Footballguys View: Reports around the league indicate this is not a big deal. The Eagles don’t have anything to play for in Week 17 and might hold Sanders out. If they do, Boston Scott would get the starter’s workload. Let’s see if Sanders can practice a bit more on Friday.

Packers | Thursday’s practice report for Green Bay

Green Bay Packers DL Kingsley Keke (concussion) and TE Marcedes Lewis (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 31. CB Kevin King (groin), WR Allen Lazard (core, wrist), S Will Redmond (concussion), LB Za’Darius Smith (ankle, thumb), WR Equanimeous St. Brown (knee), TE Jace Sternberger (concussion), OT Ricky Wagner (knee) and OT David Bakhtiari (knee) were limited. S Adrian Amos (ankle), S Darnell Savage (finger), OG Simon Stepaniak (knee) and RB Jamaal Williams (quad) practiced in full.

Eagles | DeSean Jackson sits again

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (ankle) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 31.

Footballguys View: All it takes is one play with Jackson. A perfect example of that was last week. Jackson was in his first game back since Week 7 and only had one target against the Cowboys. It just happened to be good for 81 yards and a touchdown. He played 20 snaps last week and might get some more this week if he can play. Jackson is the ultimate ‘what the heck’ flex due to his small role but big-play ability.
