Panthers | Teddy Bridgewater not guaranteed to start

Carolina Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater will be evaluated as new general manager Scott Fitterer assesses the current roster and isn’t guaranteed to be the starter for the 2021 season. ‘I’m not going to get into hypotheticals, but what I will tell you is we will be on every deal,’ Fitterer said when talking about being aggressive in transactions this offseason. ‘We’re going to look at a lot of people, bring a lot of people in the building, really churn the roster on the back end. Just really take a look at a lot of different people to see what’s out there, what fits our team and how we can build this going forward.’

Chiefs | Patrick Mahomes’ toe not an issue

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (toe) said Friday, Jan. 22, the toe injury he suffered in the AFC Divisional Round against the Cleveland Browns is ‘feeling a lot better.’

Footballguys View: What else is he supposed to say? We’re sure that Mahomes is going to give it his all with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line. However, we will also be watching closely to see if this toe problem springs up again. It can impact how much and how effective he scrambles plus it can effect his pass placement.
