Chiefs | Kansas City’s Week 20 injury report

Kansas City Chiefs LB Willie Gay (ankle) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for the AFC Championship game against the Buffalo Bills. RB Le’Veon Bell (knee) did not practice for a second straight day Friday, Jan. 22, and is listed as questionable. CB Bashaud Breeland (concussion, shoulder), RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle, hip), CB Rashad Fenton (foot) and WR Sammy Watkins (calf) were limited in practice all week and are also listed as questionable. QB Patrick Mahomes (concussion, toe) was also limited in practice all week but no longer appears on the injury report.

Bills | Week 20 injury report for Buffalo

Buffalo Bills DT Vernon Butler (quad) and WR Gabriel Davis (ankle) were upgraded to a limited practice Friday, Jan. 22, and are listed as questionable for the AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs. QB Jake Fromm (non-injury) was limited in practice all week but has been removed from the injury report. PK Tyler Bass (hand), WR Stefon Diggs (oblique), LB Tremaine Edmunds (hamstring), DL Quinton Jefferson (ankle), DE Darryl X. Johnson (knee) and WR Cole Beasley (knee) practiced in full and also no longer appear on the injury report.

Chiefs | Patrick Mahomes meeting with doctors

Updating a previous report, Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (toe, concussion) remains in the concussion protocol, according to head coach Andy Reid on Friday, Jan. 22, and will be evaluated by doctors Friday afternoon. Mahomes must be cleared by an independent neurologist before getting the green light to play in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game. Reid added Mahomes has taken the majority of snaps in practice this week.
