Bills | Buffalo protects four for AFC Championship

Buffalo Bills RB Devonta Freeman, C Jonotthan Harrison, WR Kenny Stills and RB Antonio Williams were designated as protected practice squad players for the AFC Championship Tuesday, Jan. 19.

Footballguys View: They haven’t needed Stills yet as Cole Beasley has been able to play through injury during the playoffs. However, the veteran receiver is a great player to have around if you need to go deeper at the position with one — and maybe two — games left for the Bills this postseason.

Bills | Zack Moss has ankle procedure

Buffalo Bills RB Zack Moss (ankle) underwent a minor surgical procedure on his ankle Tuesday, Jan. 19, according to his representation.

Footballguys View: Moss was lost for the postseason in the Wild Card Round due to this ankle injury. The Bills didn’t really want to run the ball in the Divisional Round against the Ravens, and we’ll see if Devin Singletary gets more work in the AFC Championship against the Chiefs on Sunday. Moss is expected to be ready for offseason workouts and training camp.

Titans | A.J. Brown undergoes surgery

Tennessee Titans WR A.J. Brown (knees) underwent surgery on both knees Tuesday, Jan. 19.

Footballguys View: Brown suffered this knee problem early in the year, and he was still able to play through the pain and get another 1,000-yard season. The Titans passing game has guys like WR Corey Davis and TE Jonnu Smith heading to free agency. That leaves Brown as their no.1 wide receiver and a WR1 consideration for Fantasy GMs in 2021.
