NFL | More teams interested in Anthony Schwartz

Auburn WR Anthony Schwartz has recently had virtual meetings with the Los Angeles Rams, Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals.

Footballguys View: Schwartz is a speedster who could get into the second day because teams prioritize the tactical value of a field stretcher. The Steelers also sent their head coach, general manager, and wide receiver coach to Auburn’s pro day to watch Schwartz and Seth Williams.

Lions | Detroit interested in Micah Parsons

Penn State LB Micah Parsons said he has talked with the Detroit Lions several times during the pre-draft process.

Footballguys View: Parsons certainly physically fits the bill as a top 10 pick, but there are some character concerns that could cast a shadow on his draft stock. Head coach Dan Campbell named Luke Kuechly, Brian Urlacher, and Lance Briggs as the kind of “core foundation” players as a possible tipoff that the team is looking at Parsons with the #7 pick.

Vikings | Nick Vigil addition not official yet

Free-agent LB Nick Vigil (Chargers) has agreed to terms with the Minnesota Vikings but it may not be made official for a few more weeks because of team business, according to a source.

Footballguys View: Vigil was a contributor for the Chargers last year and once started for the Bengals. His defensive coordinator in Cincinnati, Paul Guenther, is now with the Vikings as a senior defensive assistant coach.
