Bills | Josh Allen in line for extension

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen is entering the fourth season of his rookie contract, and the two sides are formulating an extension. ‘It helps you for your planning the sooner you can get that contract done,’ Bills general manager Brandon Beane said. ‘Again, I hope that we can get him done, if not this year, next year. You don’t want to get into the franchise (tag) and all that stuff. It’s a tool that you use if you have to to keep a great player, but at the end of the day, we want Josh here for the long term. We want him to be happy, and obviously, we want it to be a deal where we can still put talented players around him because Josh is a competitor. He’s not wired for us just to pay him, then not be able to put stuff around him. So we’ll try and find that deal that works for him and works for us.’

Buccaneers | Larry Fitzgerald a fit with TB?

Free agent WR Larry Fitzgerald (Cardinals) is a potential candidate to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and join former coaches Bruce Arians, Byron Leftwich and Kevin Garver (wide receivers) and QB Tom Brady, whom Fitzgerald has repeatedly stated his admiration for.

Footballguys View: Many of you may be sick of Tom Brady winning Super Bowls, but what about getting Fitzgerald a championship? The Buccaneers have done a good job of keeping most of their players from their Super Bowl team, but adding Fitzgerald perhaps to replace Antonio Brown (who has not re-signed) could be a strong addition.
