Packers | Want to sign Jordy Nelson
The Green Bay Packers want to sign WR Jordy Nelson to a long-term extension.
Footballguys View: Nelson is heading into the final year of his contract, and he’s only due $2.55 million. The Packers have over $13 million in salary cap space, so they should be able to get something done before the start of the season. Nelson is a top-10 receiver, and he’s in line to make somewhere around $10 million annually.

Broncos | Still working on signing Demaryius Thomas
The Denver Broncos are still working to sign WR Demaryius Thomas to a long-term extension.
Footballguys View: Most think that Demaryius Thomas will have a new contract before Julius Thomas does. Both are in the final year of their contracts, and the team is working diligently to come to an agreement with both. Demaryius Thomas may be in line to sign a contract with a total value from $80-$100 million. He’s simply one of the best in the game and needs to be compensated as such.

Broncos | Joel Dreessen idle
Denver Broncos TE Joel Dreessen (knee) hasn’t participated in the team’s offseason program due to knee surgery.
Footballguys View: If Dreessen can’t get healthy, the team might move on with a younger player like converted wide receiver Gerell Robinson. The Broncos are stacked at the position with Julius Thomas, Virgil Green and Jacob Tamme. Dreessen, while talented (if healthy), would be competing for the fourth spot at best.
