Savage: Teddy Bridgewater faces critical pro day

Teddy Bridgewater might have breezed through the NFL Scouting Combine doing little more than interviewing with clubs and skipping more drills than he participated in, but that has only set up a more demanding pro day workout for him. Bridgewater is vying to be the No. 1 overall pick of the Houston Texans, and former Cleveland Browns general manager Phil Savage told College Football 24/7 that NFL clubs will be expecting him to make up for all his missed action when Louisville holds its pro day March 17. 2014 pro days schedule

Indiana State held its pro day at The SportZone in Indianapolis on Feb. 20, and representatives from 19 teams were on hand to watch a workout for Shakir Bell. Bell (5-foot-5 5/8, 185 pounds), a running back and return specialist for the Sycamores, ran the 40-yard dash in 4.59 and 4.62 seconds, had a 37-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot-1 broad jump, ran a 4.39-second short shuttle and did 13 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press.
