Representatives from 25 NFL teams — including Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly, and wide receivers coaches from the Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, St. Louis Rams and Washington Redskins — attended a workout Friday for Indiana wide receiver Cody Latimer that lasted just 16 minutes. Latimer caught 18 passes in the workout, but had a couple of drops. Due to a broken bone in his foot, Latimer was only able to run the 40-yard dash at Indiana’s pro day on March 26. Four NFL teams were present for Dartmouth’s pro day on March 28, when two potential free-agent pickups for teams following the conclusion of the 2014 NFL Draft worked out. The pro day was held indoors and run on FieldTurf. Dom Pierre, RB (5-foot-10 1/2, 215 pounds) — Pierre ran the 40-yard dash in 4.66 and 4.69 seconds. He had a 30 1/2-inch vertical jump and 9-foot-11 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.49 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.26 seconds. Representatives from six NFL teams were present at Gallaudet’s first pro day on April 9, when two players worked out outdoors on grass. One player in particular could be a free-agent pickup following the conclusion of the 2014 NFL Draft. Adham Talaat, DL (6-foot-6, 271 pounds) — Talaat ran the 40-yard dash in 5.00 and 4.96 seconds. He had a 30-inch vertical jump and 9-foot-11 broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.39 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.26 seconds. Talaat, who has 33 5/8-inch arms, performed 23 lifts of 225 pounds on the bench press. Talaat had been sick, so his weight was down (normally, his weight would have been around 275-280 pounds).
