Footballguys View: With the 49ers making a blockbuster move to get up to no.3 overall in the 2021 NFL draft (for a quarterback), many felt the team would be moving on from Garoppolo. A team most interested could be the Patriots, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. We expect the 49ers to draft a rookie who could sit for a year behind Garoppolo…or until he gets hurt again.
