Falcons | Atlanta adds Juwan Green

Free-agent WR Juwan Green (Falcons) signed a one-year contract with the Atlanta Falcons Thursday, May 6. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Footballguys View: Green is back with the Falcons. He originally signed as an undrafted free agent out of Albany in 2020 and spent his rookie season on the team’s practice squad. He’ll compete for a spot on the 53-man roster this year.

Titans | Brady White to take part in minicamp

Undrafted free-agent QB Brady White (Memphis) will participate in the Tennessee Titans rookie minicamp on a tryout basis, according to a source.

Footballguys View: White did not get an offer as an undrafted free agent, but he’ll try to impress as a tryout player with the Titans. He started his college career at Arizona State and transferred to Memphis where he flourished. White filled the air with footballs in college and is not afraid to challenge a defense. We’ll see if he can impress during his tryout.

Bills | Buffalo to take a look at Zach Smith

Undrafted free-agent QB Zach Smith (Tulsa) will participate in the Buffalo Bills rookie minicamp on a tryout basis, according to a source.

Footballguys View: Smith is a camp arm for the Bills. They have Josh Allen as their starter and Mitchell Trubisky as his primary backup. Behind those two, the Bills have Jake Fromm and Davis Webb on the roster. Smith didn’t post great numbers in college and is a long shot to get past this tryout.

Steelers | GM: Najee Harris a 3-down back

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Najee Harris was drafted to be a rookie year-ready three-down back, Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert said in an interview. ‘Najee is a well-rounded running back (who) played in a pro system,’ Colbert told Pro Football Talk. ‘He made NFL runs routinely, and he could also play in the passing game, both as a receiver and as a blocker. He’s basically a three-down back coming from an NFL-like system, plugging into a similar type system. He made NFL runs at the collegiate level. He did it at a high level. He helped them win a national championship, so hopefully he can help us win some games.’
