Football Team | Dyami Brown headed to Washington

North Carolina WR Dyami Brown was selected by the Washington Football Team with the 82nd pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Footballguys View: Brown’s game is all about taking the top off the defense. His average depth of target in 2020 was over 18 yards! Brown does a good job of tracking passes and has ‘late hands’ so he doesn’t tip off that a pass is incoming. He’ll be a downfield target for Washington.

Dolphins | Miami adds Hunter Long

Boston College TE Hunter Long was selected by the Miami Dolphins with the 81st overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Footballguys View: Long is a solid pick by the Dolphins. He’s your classic ‘Y’ tight end who can thrive as a blocker and receiver. Long can be a security blanket for his quarterback, and he should quickly earn the trust of QB Tua Tagovailoa.

Texans | Houston selects Davis Mills

Stanford QB Davis Mills was selected by the Houston Texans with the 67th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Footballguys View: Mills only played in 11 games at Stanford, so he’s raw in terms of experience. He has athleticism but medical checks had to be a concern due to multiple knee injuries in college. Mills projects as a developmental quarterback.
