Colts | Indy finalizes rookie deal for Kylen Granson

Indianapolis Colts fourth-round draft pick TE Kylen Granson (SMU) signed a four-year contract worth $4.186 million – including a $706,368 signing bonus – on Wednesday, May 19.

Footballguys View: Granson began his college career at Rice but ended up transferring to SMU and put up some great numbers. He’s a hybrid TE/WR/H-back who can line up all over the formation. Granson does a good job tracking the ball in the air and has a nose for the end zone (14 touchdowns over the last two years). We’ll monitor his progress in dynasty formats.

Colts | Sam Ehlinger officially in the fold

Indianapolis Colts sixth-round draft pick QB Sam Ehlinger (Texas) signed a four-year contract worth $3.61 million – including a $130,708 signing bonus – on Wednesday, May 19.

Footballguys View: Ehlinger was a top dual-threat quarterback coming out of high school and the Longhorns always had a chance in a close game when he was under center. He operated a run/pass option offense which takes advantage of his rushing ability, and scouts call Ehlinger a “gamer.” Ehlinger needs to make quicker decisions as a passer and he doesn’t have a rocket arm. However, his competitive spirit and athleticism make him a player to watch in dynasty formats.
